About Etain Equestrian The Story of Etain Training Groups
Our Mission Statement:

To present and establish Equine Facilitated Learning in the UK as another way of helping those with emotional and mental challenges with the help and assistance of one of our most magnificent creatures here on Earth, the horse.

To create and establish a not-for-profit organisation from which we can apply for charity status in the future enabling us to raise funds for children and adults with emotional and mental challenges to avail from all the benefits of EFL, and the connection to horses therein, despite their family financial circumstances.

To create, maintain and develop a training facility, from which people can learn to become EFL practitioners here in the UK, with streamlined courses and seminars presented by EFL experts from throughout the world. In the future, to offer scholarships to EFL practitioners who would otherwise be unable to afford the costs of training.

To provide the regulation, guidance, support, standards, ethics and protocols for EFL Practitioners in order to establish the highest possible standards here in the UK, in practice with both the horses and children and adults, so that EFL becomes established as a safe, credible resource here in the UK.

To offer appropriate Horse Training Seminars, where horse handlers and owners may learn high standards of horsemanship techniques to help educate and therefore reduce the amount of abuse of horses, and, for those wishing to practice EFL, to learn the high standard of horsemanship techniques necessary.

To offer educational EFL showcase days to those who may be open to alternative ways of helping those more vulnerable members of our society.
